My studio and equipment

This is a picture of me in my first studio which was in the basement of my weekend house in Virginia. Since it was my weekend home that meant I only got to make my glass beads on the WEEKEND!!  I would obsess about them all week and when I got there I would only come up for food and sleep.  The rest of the time I was "burning" my glass.

Then I moved to my lake house in TN and I got a whole unfinished room in the basement to make into my studio. This is what it looked like before I moved my stuff in.  In the back of the picture between the trees you see the lake.  What a view I have when I am working!!

This is my new oxygen concentrator that my wonderful husband gave me for Christmas.  I use it with propane to run my Nortel Minor torch to make my beads and other lampwork items.  Its sweeeeet!!!!!!  Much better than a tank of oxygen.  You don't run out in the middle of a bead.

This is my new giant kiln.  I can't wait to set it up to make big pieces like vases and big plates.
